Scrunch

I love it when the children take an interest in the RWC and watch some of the games with me. The more games they watch, the more they understand what the objective of the game is - get the ball, run, get biffed, do it again.

They know that if the ball goes out, there's a line out. They know that if a try is scored, then the scoring team can get even more points by converting.

Today we were watching the All Blacks and an inspired Canada playing their last pool game, and when the whistle blew for some or other infringement, Courtney repeats after the ref, "Touch ... Pause ... Engage ...".

"Hey" she adds, "that was a good scrunch ...."
